Cornerstones of the issue management process

As a pharmaceutical company we actively strive for constantly optimizing our systems and our concepts in order to be prepared for handling a crisis. Cornerstones of the crisis management process are:

  • tracking of critical issues
  • dealing with potentially adverse events
  • managing critical situations

To support the process, we have established measures at our corporate headquarters and in our operating units:

  • duty officer service
  • detailed crisis and emergency plans
  • regular crisis simulation exercises
  • regular EHS audits at our production sites
